“BLACK LIVES MATTER DOESN’T CARE ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE”

Marxism has been the backbone for many societies worldwide, but recently Marxism has found its way into American society. Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi are the founders of the infamous social movement known as Black Lives Matter. Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. is a global organization based in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and Canada. The organization claims its mission is to eradicate racism, build local power forces for Black communities, and enhance the lives of Black people.

In 2015, Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors said the following “We actually do have an ideological frame, myself and Alicia, in particular, are trained organizers, we are trained Marxists.” Black Lives Matter has used ostensible methods to blind Black Americans from the truth; they refuse to reveal the organic message of the man behind Marxism. Considering that Marxism has been a driving force in the Black Lives Matter movement, it’s vital to acknowledge, dissect, and understand the internal philosophy of Marxism.Karl Marx, who is labeled the founding father of Marxism, was extremely racist. On July 30th, 1862, Karl Marx wrote a letter to Friedrich Engels. The letter revealed the racist and anti-Semitic rhetoric used by him. In this letter, he referred to a Jewish man by the name of Ferdinand Lasalle as a “Jewish Nigger.” On August 7th, 1866, Marx wrote another letter to Friedrich Engels; in this letter, he said, “Tremaux proved that the common Negro type is the degenerate form of a much higher one… a very significant advance over Darwin.”

In the year of 1844, Marx published one of his most significant works called “On the Jewish Questions.” In his publication, he said “The god of the Jews has become secularized and has become the god of the world. The bill of exchange is the real god of the Jew. His god is only an illusory bill (money) of exchange.”Once the American-Mexican war concluded, Marx said “Without violence, nothing is ever accomplished in history…is it a misfortune that magnificent California was seized from the lazy Mexicans who did not know what to do with it? The history of Karl Marx is a history that accepted and justified ethnic and religious bias. Why would a group meant for the advancement of marginalized people follow the methods and philosophies of a man who was racist? The evidence shows that Marx held strong and biased opinions about people of African, Jewish, and Mexican origins, but the movement chooses to be blind to the facts. In 2020, Black Lives Matter published a very alarming statement on their website, but once the statements were met with criticism from many Americans, they removed them. The organization said, “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement.” Why would having a two-parent household be mutually exclusive to western society? No matter a person’s race, religion, or background, statistics show why a two-parent household is important.

It’s obvious that Black Lives Matter is setting the path for single parenthood, which is problematic in a variety of ways. There is a father absence crisis in America, which contributes to a lot of the oppression Black Lives Matter is fighting against. Black Lives Matter seems to only promote ways to destroy the Black family unit, similar to what the Democrats did under Franklin D. Roosevelt and Henry A. Wallace’s presidential administration. FDR utilized big government and social welfare programs to destroy the Black family unit. His administration forced Black families to replace Black fathers with Uncle Sam. The FDR administration started the path for single-parent households, but now Black Lives Matter has decided to resume the usage of the same vicious methods used by that administration. In 2020, the U.S. Census Bureau reported that 18.3 million children, 1 in 4, live without a biological, step, or adoptive father in the home. Research also shows that children within fatherless homes are more likely to drop out of school, have behavioral issues, go to prison, be unemployed, or become more susceptible to drug and alcohol abuse.

The founders of this organization claim to have set the tone for a new Marxist Revolution in America to combat systemic racism, but that’s far from the truth. This year, Patrisse Cullors resigned from the organization, allegedly to pursue a book and TV deal. Cullors isn’t a true Marxist, as every move she makes is for her own gain of profit. The self-described Marxist recently purchased four homes which add up to $3.2 million combined. On April 10th, 2020, The New York Post revealed that Cullors viewed real estate properties in the Bahamas at the exclusive Albany luxury resort. Properties at this luxury resort range from $5 million to $20 million dollars. In 2020, Black Lives Matter received $90 million dollars in donations alone, yet they have made no progress with the promises they made.

The irony behind this organization is the self-claimed identifications of marxism, but also the urge to make a profit in the process. Anyone who has studied Karl Marx knows that he was against the idea of private property. Marx believed that private property possessed the ability to create oppressive industries, which he was against; he believed it formulated oppression and classism. He also believed that people who accepted the idea of private property were selfish and only worked in favor of themselves.

Cullors spending millions of dollars on private property is anti-Marxist in itself, therefore she isn’t a true Marxist. This organization has weaponized victimhood and the Black/African-American identity to make a profit. Black Lives Matter has also weaponized the deaths of many Black Americans, as seen with the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Breonna Taylor, Michael Brown, and George Floyd. They have allowed radical left-wing groups such as Antifa to infiltrate the movement by indoctrinating activists with communist agendas. While the founders and officials of Black Lives Matter continue to gain immense profit, the people they claim to work for earned nothing in return for their collective activism that made the organization what it is today.
